Morning lovers!

3rd cup of coffee and it's just gone 09:01. It's going to be one of those days.

I think I might pretend to have TAKEN SOMETHING and act very strangely at the Christmas lunch. God knows I'm going to have to entertain myself somehow

Awright? Actually had a half-decent kip last night but I'm still dreaming weirdly. Pah.

JUST DON'T FUCKING GO

Why pretend? I'm sure getting off your box would help you deal with Margaret from Finance easier...

A good dose of mushrooms would have you laughing manically, which would keep people from bothering you in the future, while also allowing you to feel spiritually superior to everyone else. Its a NO BRAINER.

I have just dropped all my presents off to be wrapped. I could do it myself, but I can’t be bothered with the faff.

Was Ed really bigger than Adele and Taylor? :zombie:

Who is wrapping them for you? :o

It’s a local professional gift wrapping service that you can pay to have your Christmas presents wrapped all pretty. You get an allocated time to drop off your presents, and then a time to collect them when they are all wrapped for you.

As long as it's not your ex-cleaner, otherwise half of them would be on eBay by 4 o'clock...

:D

She is probably out with her black and white burglars outfit peering in to windows to see what’s worth pilfering as we speak.

How much does it cost to get your presents wrapped, @Rita?

I am TERRIBLE at wrapping but since the only people I buy for these days are my mum and the BF, it doesn’t really matter so much. I took my mum shopping a few weeks ago and she’s already got the clothes she wanted. So no point in wrapping them!

Sometimes you see stalls around city centres where they'll do it for a charity donation.

Yeah, we had a few people doing it in the office last year, they raised a fair bit, mainly wrapping people's Secret Santa prezzies for each other...

I've cut back on the present buying this year. Nothing for my brother or sister, or the nieces and nephews over 18 (so four out of seven).

Although, when I've got Mr L about NINETY presents (stocking fillers excluded), this is all pretty much MOOT when it comes to wrapping.

It depends on the size of gift and how you would like them wrapped (what paper etc). The tier I went for goes from £5-£10 per present and that is boxed, lined and wrapped with gold and silver wrapping paper. Bows, gift tags etc are all included. Some of the things I have bought have been pre wrapped already by the store I bought them from.

I like to collect them and stick them all under the tree until the big day.

My boss just brings her prezzies and wrapping paper into work and I wrap them for her. After all, my contract says I have to perform any task as required by the boss so if she wants me to wrap prezzies in work's time it's OK by me.

Never fear, I'm grouping them into batches, using only brown paper and some Japanese tape made out of rice paper and some special adhesive. 'Special' in that it's an adhesive that doesn't actually adhere.
