Thursday hopes he’s hung

Voted.

All of the weeks and weeks of me being wound up and angry by this ridiculously came flooding out and I ACTUALLY WELLED UP as I put my cross next to Labour.

Whilst nationally I’m resigned to a disaster, I really don’t know how I’ll cope with a loss locally.

In other news, is it snowing anywhere so badly it will stop old people going out?

Asking for a friend in a socialist hat...

Voted. We had a new polling station but of course I hadn’t read that on the polling card so as I wandered the streets I couldn’t help think this was some Tory conspiracy.

I missed the Tory door to door people by seconds yesterday, they couldn't wait long enough for me to walk down the stairs

Our old polling station has been turned into a night shelter (darling, imagine the effect on house prices!), and the new one is an elderly persons home

Anyway, I'll be voting on the way home, having dinner of a night nurse trifle and a bottle of sherry, then going to bed. See you all on Saturday.

I keep looking at this thread title and thinking of the picture I've just seen in the post a pic of yourself thread. @Lucille got his wish.

Remember, kids, vote early and vote often.

Unless you're a Tory, in which case, fuck you.

Travelling around nearby constituencies to vote Labour multiple times under different names. I have told the police that I'm doing this, but they cannot do anything as it would be homophobic.

Wait. I may be mistaken, but is this you coming out to Moopy? :disco:

Oh great - my loonball ex-manager is back. At least she's on a different floor from me, even if she waddles up here every so often.

My echo chamber is so very pro Labour so I'm basking in that warm comfortable glow before waking up horrified tomorrow.

I don’t think I’m nervous today but I definitely feel sick

I'm sitting at my desk secretly furious at a certain colleague who declared "I can't be bothered voting, I don't know who to vote for and what's the point anyway?". I replied that I was voting to give my taxes to the 95% of poorer people in our country rather than continue giving it to the billionaires, hedge-fund managers, landed gentry, disaster capitalists and people who earn their money here but keep it secret in tax-haven accounts so that they don't have to contribute their fair share. I won't throw my dolly out if my guy doesn't win but at least I'll know I tried. She stomped off in a huff.

I feel like I should go in and say I wasn't having a go specifically at her but I can't do that without it turning into a hypersonic rant about how women died to give her that vote that she's going to waste because she can't be bothered.

In non election/gaping mancunt news, I just got the first client payment for my new business today. I've absolutely no idea what I'm doing, but yay.

Reall hope the tories don't destroy the economy now tbh.

A few feet away from me, someone is explaining how general elections work to a grown adult. Jeez.

Up early unblocking my drains! It’s gonna be a great 48 hours guys!

You're talking about douching, right?

I have a cold and really sore throat that's gone on 3 days now. When I have the energy to vote hopefully I'll be feeling more this:

Wait. I may be mistaken, but is this you coming out to Moopy? :disco:

As those closest to me know, in my life I have had relationships with both men and women. I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose now to live as a gay man.

(nah I don't think so, I've definitely posted cringe before about not being into labels or bumming apps, but I just assumed it was a given on here)
