Friday is...

Also I've caught Mr S sitting at home with the heating switched on to ALL DAY. There'll be NONE OF THAT when I've been MADE REDUNDANT so THINK ON!

I've spent my afternoon watching the first two episodes of Watchmen. A grim dystopia, with rampant race hate and an increasingly authoritarian government determined to trample on any human rights it wishes. Still, at least I've got Watchmen to take my mind off it.

My voice teacher runs her studio out of her house, and during the last few lessons her dog has been in and out of it (and barking along with me :D) and her husband just sauntered in yesterday to say he was going to the gym and if she needed any groceries on his way back etc and they proceeded to have a full conversation.

This shit drives me nuts because in my mind I'm paying by the hour. Am I out of line? Anyone experience anything like this?

The moment her dog joined in I'd have binned her off immediately, it's very unprofessional. You're paying for an hour's tuition and that's what you should get, uninterrupted.

Hey folks! So my plans of 2 Christmas parties today - one team lunch and then the free-for-all full office party fell by the wayside when Mr K fell ill during the night and succumbed to some sort of vomiting and diarrhoea bug - not sure if it's food poisoning or norovirus - if it' s the latter then I'll know within a day or so! I've never seen him ill like this in all the time I've known him and I had to call in sick for him, the first time I think he has ever had to do so in his working career!

To get away from the the ELECTION I'm watching a CHANNEL 5 show where RUSTIE LEE, BIGGINS, JOE PASQUALE, the REVEREND RICHARD COLES and SUE HOLDERNESS go to LAPLAND to look for FATHER CHRISTMAS :D:argh::zombie:

HURHURHURHURHUR :rusty::santa:

Make sure you tell him it's the big jar of pickling malt vinegar otherwise he might just bring home a small bottle that you shake onto chips.

he says he can't find the big bottle anywhere

SIGH, that's Sunday RUINED!

You can use the small bottles as well. I couldn't find a big bottle in my local supermarket so just bought a half litre bottle of malt, and it was enough to pickle 18 eggs.

He's lying, he just can't be arsed looking properly!

The big jars are 1.14 litres, if he goes to a big supermarket (Tesco, Sainsburys or Asda) and asks at customer services where the Sarsons Pickling Vinegar is they'll know whether they have it or not.

he's a fraud and a scam, I know. he will sleep on the sofa tonight. next year I'll fly over and FIX IT MYSELF
