First day back in the office for me. Hardly anyone is here. I came back to around 100 emails most of which were a load of rubbish. Already pissed off, that didn’t take long.

I have had a few recruitment companies contact me and one job seems good but I’ve got to go back for another operation in March, and could be off 3-4 weeks, I’ll get full sick pay on my current role, and won’t in a new role. Plus I have 2 weeks off holiday in May. I’m probably better staying where I am until the summer, I think.

Apparently we play. Mandy tells me each week we have a chance of winning. But never do. I don't even want a massive win. Just enough to be able to retire.

I'd stay where you are for now. Maybe start looking again after your holiday and when you're fully recovered.

I think my city is going to explode. Recreational marijuana just became legal on the 1st of Jan and there are lines of people outside newly opened dispensaries EVERYWHERE.

I think the UK is too right wing and reactionary for that to happen here. Which is funny because you'd have thought the Tories would have been into taxing it the way they do drink and tobacco.

The UK drug policy has REGRESSED over the last decade. Let's not forget that they have dismissed any policy adviser who disagrees with their agenda, or you know, dares to rely on fact.

Our bloody government are banning menthol fags and tobacco later this year so I don't believe we'll ever have legal recreational weed, even with regulation, duty and tax. As if menthol tobacco will entice children into smoking, it's shite. I only have it for my nighttime illegal smoke and I've got some of those menthol cards upstairs for when the tobacconist is out of menthol.
