I have a swelling at the back of my mouth. I think it's an infection. I think I'm gonna wait until tomorrow after consulting with 111.

I assume you've tried salt water mouthwashes? Makes me gag, but it did the trick the last time I had something similar.

It didn't turn out to be a cold, probably just the infection taking hold.

I actually never knew such a thing existed. Salt & Vinegar, Ready Salted and Beef are the only ones I have ever came across.

I used to love a macaroni pie. I mean, you'd have to pop the lid off and add some real cheese to the plasticy concoction supplied but it was still a delight.

It's PIE. We only have one type of pie in Scotland and that's it. Puff Pastry might be used atop a New Year steak pie but that's one of those ye olde traditions. We have pie in Scotland and ye'll fuckin' well LIKE IT.

I think Call The Midwife may well be my favourite tv show. I can’t miss it. I have never actually watched an episode of Vera.
