Howdy.

I am so DOWN at the minute (see the Brexit thread for a chunk of this). Hopefully, this will come spewing out over the weekend as some fucking horrible noise that I can upload to Bandcamp.

Netflix are causing havoc filming outside my office again. FUCK OFF. The fucking cathedral give us like TWO DAYS NOTICE. The useless cunts.

I’m also DOWN but for different reasons.

I need a HOLIDAY.

And a new job.

I thought booking my holiday would cheer me up but NOT REALLY.

I also need a new job but too LAZY to look for one. Every job I've had has kind of fallen into my lap, and I'm getting annoyed it's not happening again. I suppose I'm finally reaping what I sew in terms of wondering through life without any direction.

I'm going SKIING in a few weeks and I'm excited apart from the 18 hour drive each way.

I am not sad. Things seem fine. Would prefer a weekend and politics can go hang but otherwise all good :)

On which subject this send-to-all email at work cheered us all up last week

Good, the cathedral seem like a incompetent bunch of wankers.

I'm now making porridge with it. DOUBLE OAT MADNESS.

I love oat milk. I think it’s my favourite. I was looking up how to make oat yogurt only this morning.

Yes, it's my favourite milk of all now as well.

I mean I'm assuming we're not including pouring single cream over my Special K as milk for this purpose, or I may have to a rethink.

Where are you off to love?

Thing is, I really love oats. Flapjacks are the right up there with my favourite things in the world too, especially the dirty, filthy petrol station kind that have icing on and taste like cherry bakewells.

Oat milk porridge is nice. One less animal based thing I frequently eat.

Just to say that the pluralisation of milk - as in "Oh GAYNOR, they had a truly superb selection of cruelty-free MILKS :)" - makes me feel sick and raging

Absolutely REVOLTING :gross::oi:

I just popped to Aldi as I heard they had some bargain lychees on the go and in the space of about six minutes I bumped into an ex, a past fuck and someone I’ve been talking to on Growlr.

WHO KNEW?

Reminds me of when we were in Prague and mixing vodka was it with all those fruit juices, we definitely had lychee juice.

That was a beautiful apartment, wasn't it? My mother wants me to take her to Prague, and if I could get a smaller one in the same building it would be perfect. I seem to remember Old Town square was only down the end of the road.

I do remember that lychee juice. I seem to remember it went very well with vodka

I’ve made it a mission to not spend my evenings when on the road doing work in my hotel room and in the spirit of this, I’ve just discovered Conchita Wurst is playing in Warsaw next week. I might just POP ALONG :disco:

Oat milk is amazing in coffee. Unlike almond milk which is not nice in coffee.

I'm only working 2 days this week. And last week. I'm getting far too used to part time work.

I’ve been using almond milk for my chia seed pudding but it’s always a bit runny. I’ll give oat milk a try.

I had a lychee sangria the other day that was lovely.
