Working from home today! But back in tomorrow... my manager is doing it on a rota system, which doesn't make sense and he knows it doesn't make sense but at the moment I'll take it.

I work in a large hospital and without going into specifics, it looks like I will be redeployed do a different role quite shortly.
Morale is still okay across the teams. Let's wait and see how this all pans out.
(Yes I know I said I'd stay away from this thread! But I want to contribute accurately / positively if at all possible.)
That's lovely really. We haven't got there yet but I suspect there may possibly be healthcare assistant type roles. You could always tweet or contact your local hospital / contact volunteering services etc. and see if they have any options/advice. Though the emphasis of course at the moment is everyone to stay home. What can I do to help? I mean, the NHS. Is there ANYTHING that "normal" people with no medical training can do?
I'm DESPERATE to utilise myself in some positive way. I am already running errands for people isolated but other than that...

Oh I'm sure in her line of business a mere pandemic/ economic crash won't stop themIs @Ellie still getting to work? Not sure if she uses public transport.

Cold, drizzly morning here and the sight of beggars and the homeless in the city centre seems even more stark against about 90% less people scurrying into offices.

London starting to close down is frighteningly bleak and a bit scary.
The homeless are worrying me a lot.
Christ, I just coughed and my entire team jumped and looked at me as if I'd just shat on the desk.
People be JUMPY.

Lockdown has done WONDERS to my libido (i'm horny, don't say arse.
)The 34 cases were all 'imported' from other countries - there were no transmissions within chinaThat also says that China has 34 new confirmed cases when the BBC has reported that no new cases were reported today.
i read that yesterday (along with a theory that people with blood type a seem to be more susceptible to the virus)...

Sheets absolutely fucking soaked.

So fever is down a bit, but I feel like all my joints are being stabbed. So that's nice.
Have you been tested?
No. Four of us who met up Friday are sick and showed symptoms at the same time - one returned to Oz where they still test, so if he has it think it's very likely we all do.
Michel Barnier has it.
i know what you mean. it's like everyone's gone and left them behind![]()

The amount of people testing positive on Moopy suggests how RIDICULOUSLY widespread it already is.
