Not really. If Indie was Mafia then the loss of his vote could have meant that another group of Mafia could have made a majority to kill Suomi without ever knowing for sure that he was on their side.

Why? The deflection vote for Mother Superior based on nothing (and, as I said, why would Ag pick an inactive poster to be Mafia?) is far more suspicious, and conveniently happened just as Penelope was starting to feel the pinch.
