How will I wear a mask and drink at the same time? In the park obviously. :(

I did get a text from a friend asking if I wanted to go to a gathering at hers for her sons birthday. I politely declined, but did think about it as she said it was outside. :shy:

I've been going to work about twice a week on average. Besides that I've also been going to the supermarket or going jogging about twice a week as well. I reckon all of this has helped and I can last like this about a month more without a problem.

Does everyone here own a mask? Where did you buy one from? Do you think I SHOULD? I thought they didn't really help?

I have a cotton one. It stinks. I'm reluctant to wash it as it has plastic parts.

My mum and dad keep me sending me them, I've not worn one as I don't think they really DO ANYTHING.

Our street got filmed clapping for the news tonight. The joy of having a local DJ on hand complete with new baby and birthday announcements.

Well, as of Monday about half our department are being furloughed. That doesn’t include me and I don’t know if it’s a good or bad thing. I can also get immediately tested if I develop any symptoms.

On one hand it’s nice to be thought of as “critical”, on the other hand it’s a fully paid holiday for others as the 20% is being covered, although obviously there’s not much to actually do other than potter around the house with my mad flat mate. Today some shoes she ordered got delivered but the size was wrong as they used US sizes. Instead of emailing the company and arranging a replacement, I got a screaming fit about never ordering anything online ever again and how she might as well throw them away :goodgrief:

I'm actually slightly excited about MASK FASHION! You know, Covid but make it FASHION!
Give us a bit of THIS love :disco:

I actually couldn’t. Can you not slap her next time she gets delirious?

What on earth kind of flat mate do you live with? Is this the girl you want to spend your time with? You want to be tough, better do what you can, so beat it!

Given loads of people died in Iran from alcohol poisoning because of a rumour that alcohol cured covid, this really is a dangerous thing to say.

Although SURELY everyone knows NOT to do this?!

Guys relax it’s quite clearly fake news from the fake news media.

Just wait for tonight’s press conference where he’ll confirm that he never said it.
