I think the problem was that there was plenty of MOR pop that didn’t really go anywhere in the first ten or so songs, which is presumably what put a few off who began to act like it was the equivalent of Eurovision 2011.

it's a bit more subtle and that's not something that lends itself very well to this format.

I was briefly distracted when I saw that Cherona also had a song called 'Sound of Africa' and I felt the need to listen to it, sort of like how you can't help looking at a bad injury.
