Do you remember me telling you how I accidentally told all my staff on a video call that another member of my staff was pregnant and she was still only 10 weeks and I was mortified?

She's only gone and lost it.

My friends have just lost twins at 10 weeks. Heartbreaking. I've really struggled to know what to say. I think its all just sunk in today for them too.

A friend on mine suffered pregnancy loss two years ago, 7 months in. She had a wee girl about 6 weeks ago but kept the fact that she was expecting an absolute secret because the thing she found the hardest was dealing with the intensity of other people's reactions. It's something for which I have absolutely no frame of reference at all but it just sounds awful.

On way home from work. It's quite easily the busiest I've seen the roads and pavements since the start of lockdown. It's certainly not usual rush hour traffic, but pretty much usual Saturday levels, I'd say.

Although I knew it was going to be so much harder without resources, I've realised it's near on impossible to write a comparative historiographical book review WITHOUT THE FUCKING BOOKS. I literally don't know what they want.
