Yeah that one I think was the final version and it sounded amazing. The initial demo clip was underwhelming for me.

Neither of them sound anything like Venus. If I had to compare, Free Woman is closer to Fever-era Kylie. Rain On Me give me aspects of Todd Terry's Somethin' Goin' On, minus the absolutely heavyweight vocals, of course.

Yeah, that's the problem. Easily one of Madge's worst ever singles. It always sounded like some early 90s rejected demo to me. It's so lifeless and the melody is sooo weak.
