My favourite was English, and I had bunch of really great English teachers like the guy who made us study the MONORAIL song from The Simpsons to understand persuasive language, and the lady who wore KAFTANS and pulled me aside to tell me I had TALENT after we had a short story assignment. Without her encouragement maybe I wouldn't be writing critically acclaimed MARKETING COPY today.
I also really liked history, with a caveat that I didn't enjoy it as much in secondary school when we ditched the Greeks, Romans, and Henry's wives (Anne Boleyn, the original QoL) for years and years of World War studies. A low point was being in a class with cunts who thought it was FUNNY to include cattle noises in their PowerPoint presentation about the Holocaust. I guess that's what you get from an all-boys grammar in the Tory heartlands. Hell on Earth.
I liked languages too, although I've forgotten pretty much everything I learned.
I regret taking psychology at A Level instead of classics. Psychology was TRIPE.
