Allafestivalen

What else are you going to do while trapped in your house/flat/villa/conventillo other than make sexy Melodifestivalen videos for ungrateful Moopists?
The first one was fun because I did what I want because I wanted to do it. It was going to be a late show that barely anybody was gonna watch. But having people with high expectations like if this was the best thing ever and demanding songs is exactly what will put me off. All these years here and some people still don't know how volatile and hysterical I am.

Oh just ignore us WANT WANT WANT SLAGS and our silly demands. I for one don’t want to put you off doing any more and AF1 was truly fabulous without any prior interference so I shall zip it :disco:

Oh believe me I know :D Those paramedics said they'd never seen injuries like the ones I sustained in our Scavenger Hunt forum - they thought I'd been kicked in the face by a horse with landmines for shoes.

Don't worry about pleasing everyone - do it for yourself. I hadn't heard of half of the songs on Wednesday, a lot of people hadn't heard of any, and it got RAVE REVIEWS.

More like the heads of young twink virgins!

Well I’VE no use for them! I do offer them parts in the lovely plays presented in my exclusive boutique theatre and if they’re not good enough and haven’t seen the entire works of Fassbinder I MEAN CAN YOU IMAGINE, it’s straight off to the knacker’s yard :disco:

Oh yes please.

MF rock entries ranking
1. Eclipse - Runaways
2. Roger Pontare - Silverland
3. Pagan Fury - Stormbringer
4. HEAT - 1000 Miles
5. The Poodles - Night of Passion
6. Dismissed - Hearts Align
7. Dynazty - Land of Broken Dreams
8. Ralf Gyllenhammar - Bed on Fire
9. Outrigger - Echo
10. Dead by April - Mystery
MF rock acts are 50/50 for me, either I love them (Stormbringer, Night of Passion, Echo, Bed On Fire) or hate them. I can't even remember Runaways for instance, and swear I've never heard of Dynazty.

And no love for those Gronvall emo twinks?

I thought he was great in the X-Men movies and Eden Lake is my favourite film ever, so hopefully there's a walk-on part for me in one of your productions.

:D Well we’ll have to see about that. Obviously in a post-#metoo world I’ve done away with the casting couch, but there’s a handy shower if you need a rinse :)

That En Gang fur Alle song is stuck in my fucking head.

Oh God MINE TOO! For something so desperately and laughably poor - I mean what sort of minds wrote it and thought OH WOW? - it does hook into the head rather, much like a brain-eating worm :disco:

En Gång För Alla is the gayest MF performance EVER, but it's more than that, everything about it is so wrong it's right. It has absolutely everything, even Alla in the title :disco: It's impossible not to be obsessed with it for a while when you discover it.

I've heard it at most three times ever, but that's not stopped it from playing in a continuous loop since Wednesday night. I started singing it when I was doing the washing up earlier - I only know the one line.

Which ones were they?
I called them that because I couldn't remember the band or the song after a bottle of wine but I know I liked it... it was 2014 and some song about domestic abuse... Little Pretty Things or Sweet True Lies or something like that?

As long as you don't do the choreography walking down the street it's fine.

Hang on I think it was called 'Set Yourself Free'

Oh, Little Great Things. It was a bit like a student band doing the soundtrack to a low budget film.

I know I kind of mentioned this earlier but the slight hesitancy in the performance, the apparent inability at various points to master some of the most basic leg choreography imaginable, and the definite air of “I really don’t quite know why the fuck we’re doing this, Kim / Nina (delete as applicable)” really are all manner of :disco:

Yes, is on the same level of "dear Anne-Lie, for some reason we have this kilometre long boa so we have planned this nice staging for your song".

In a way, I prefer the clumsy performances of yesteryear to the processed ones these days. When someone tries to ad-lib a dance routine these days, it just looks fucking weird, because the staging is so sharp and clinical.

Victor and Felix this year, and Oscar last year, were like watching Bez from the Happy Mondays in increasingly advanced stages of Bell's Palsy.

:D! Despite having watched it MANY TIMES, I STILL don’t understand how they attached the boa to the camera and dragged it into the audience’s screaming faces from a technical perspective, much less how it was magically returned to the stage for the wonderful finale or indeed WHY THE FUCK anyone thought it was a good idea to begin with!

I can't stop laughing when I think about it, imagine HER FACE when they told her about it, and then when she saw what was actually happening during rehearsals! :D

Oh it always provides GUARANTEED AMUSEMENT :disco:

Lest we forget, though, that it may well have been HER IDEA :side-eye:
