Danish PM has been reluctant but the other parties are putting pressure on her to roll on full re-opening... numbers are looking good but who knows what's lurking around the corner

Coronavirus. Coronavirus is lurking around the corner :(

I want a facial. I want someone else to do my nails, and THEN I want to meet up with friends and family.

Can I just add that if I hear one more person say FURLONGED instead of FURLOUGHED I am seriously going to CUT A BITCH. :argh:

Well done to Nicola for actually being clear on what’s happening.

If Scotland is behind London, then this approach does make sense. Equally with schools due to close earlier up here than in England there always was going to be differences in how we get out of lockdown.

The difference between Nicola Sturgeon and Boris Johnson is stark. She isn’t perfect, no politician is, but she has managed to handle this whole situation really well.

The problem is that Scotland being on a different schedule to the rest of the UK is going to be difficult, already here people are starting to flaunt the guidelines more, I’m seeing more cars pass the house and more people out every day when I go for my bike run.

I passed by a few burger vans this morning and people were not social distancing, and the other evening I saw a bunch of boys playing football together. The police came along and broke it up but there’s definitely been a shift in many people’s mindsets.

Manchester Metro Mayor Andy B is saying he thinks lifting restrictions is an example of the government looking at what's happening in London and ignoring the rest of the country.

I'm glad Scotland has Nicola Sturgeon to take them in a more sensible direction, but I'm concerned about the chaos lifting lockdown could cause in England.

I am generally in favour of lifting lockdown, even if it means cases could grow again. Let's face it, until a vaccine comes around, this isn't going away. There's no way we can possibly eradicate it through just staying at home. We need to get the world moving again.

And people talk about the economy and people dying as if they're mutually exclusive. If the economic fallout is massive then you'll see plenty of people dying (albeit more slowly) through poverty and hardship. LEST WE FORGET that previous austerity potentially (although very difficult to prove) killed 100,000+ people

The Boris speech this Sunday is being pushed like an episode of reality TV. Just update us NOW and stop showboating YOU TERRIBLE CUNT.

Well that’s because every fucking “update” is basically a stage managed Tory party political broadcast, right down to the public questions. He’s just ensuring maximum viewership.

It's ridiculous trailing your Lift The Lockdown special 3 days before

And on the cusp of a sunny weekend too

And now R is now only just below 1, up from 0.6-0.7 few weeks ago

Care homes related and not community transmissions, not that that makes it any better. What a shit show

BLERGH

I am getting a strange perverse pleasure from seeing my greys creeping down my head. Obviously I will dye it as soon as we're allowed OUT OUT though

I have the back of my hair a snip the other day because it was getting a bit mulletty, and I have literally never felt so much regret in such a short period of time.

Thankfully I don't have to look at it.

The front is growing out into what I can only describe as curtains, and I'm not against it. Ready to join A1 after this is all over.

I got a friend to do the sides with my beard trimmer but I didn't let him touch the top so that's currently growing out of control.

I went to the barbers the week before isolation.

I thought I'd won. Not anymore.

I was mulling a trip to the barbers before isolation. I haven't been for a haircut in about a year now.

Have decided to fuck it all and let my beard grow too. My head is basically 95% hair right now.

Our hair might be shit, but at least we're not on TV. Just seen Tomasz Schafernaker is in urgent need of a trim.
