He’s Mr Sheena’s favourite man EVER. Have I ever told the story about him and our wedding on here?
 
So, as I said, Mr Sheena's all time favourite man. Mentioned endlessly by my friends and also a big part of my hen do involved his name and, particularly, in the "Mr and Mrs" style game, I guessed correctly that Mr Sheena would want to be stranded on a desert island with him. Morning after our wedding, sat around opening cards and presents and there's a card with an envelope in it, from "Tomas" with a desert island on it. Laughed at someone's joke, then opened the envelope and he'd taken a photo of himself holding it to prove it was actually from him. Turns out one of my best friends works with his Auntie or someone like that at our local hospital and got his Gran to get him to do it when he visited :D

So in town today a wall collapsed on loads of cars at our local Aldi.

I HOPE THERE'S A SECOND VIRUS THAT KILLS BREXIT VOTERS.

I think the timing of the measures was certainly off and the PPE issue has been a fucking atrocity but I also think that the antics of BBQ Bob and Babs ET AL have a LOT to answer for in terms of the death toll in the UK

I was quite excited to find chicken in Tescos’s the other day, having not been to an actual supermarket in quite a while and the shelf being bare when I last went. No eggs though :(
 
I had it hammered into me at a young age that a certain amount of germs and nasties are actually necessary, so I've really just breezed through this period not even thinking about giving my ready-meal-for-one a scrub before I bung it in the microwave.

Everyone else is out here developing a COMPLEX and I'd still follow the five second rule. I'm surprised to have made it this far.

Oh my. I know the British have notoriously poor standards of hygiene and are all indulging in BBQ orgies during coronaseason but I think you might be taking it a bit far. Surely it’s fine if it’s in a can or container? Get yourself a croissant tomorrow and just give it the once over with a broom :disco:
 
I wipe down or spray EVERYTHING I get from the shops. People are CONSTANTLY picking and dropping things in supermarkets, talking or coughing into shelves, god knows what else! The restockers in Sainsbury's last time I went weren't even wearing any gloves or masks!

The virus survives up to two days on metal or plastic surfaces...

At the end of the day if you are comfortable without doing it, I say go for it. But only last week I saw two ambulances with MEN IN PROTECTIVE SUITS wheeling out people down the road so I'm not taking any chances just YET.

Oh absolutely, it's just to avoid having to wash my hands each time I touch the stuff I bought.

I might treat myself to a croissant tomorrow (Victoire '45 and all that). I'll put it in the oven for a couple of minutes just in case :shy:
