Saturday doesn’t even have a thread yet

We’re usually a couple of pages in by NOW. Are you all hungover from celebrating the Let’s kill the Germans day?

Amazingly I found the power to STOP DRINKING sometime during Kylie last night enough so that I was able to go for a SLOW RUN this morning. :D I'm sadly not at @Sheena levels of picking wild garlic, whipping up dinner for an entire school and finding the cure for aids all before 6am but I do feel good!

Looking at the list of jobs for today... Was meant to bleach my hair but I don't have the right stuff. So might get cracking on sorting out my bedroom SHELVES :disco:

It wasn't very long ago that sometimes we didn't have a daily thread until teatime. 10am on a Saturday would've been considered the crack of dawn.

My gardens are in such a state of disarray due to the lawnmower breaking last September and the roofing work a couple of weeks ago so I'm going to have to tackle it with just a strimmer, rake and shovel. I've been procrastinating for the last two hours but think I really should get dressed and make a start. I also need to get the ladders out and hack the trees that are hanging over the back fence then climb on the extension roof and rake all of the moss and roof detritus away which scares the hell out of me because I'm terrified of climbing anything higher than the third step of stepladders.

I’m still in bed. I switched to tea after 10pm, and that did me the power of good, I’m just knackered now.

Planning to get mortal again tonight so didn’t want to peak too soon.

My water heater DIED a couple of weeks ago (great timing CUNT) and they're coming to repair it on Monday. They'll probably need to move the fridge to get to it so I did some cleaning, including under the fridge. There was so much dirt there, dust, oil patches and even pieces of SHIT from that fucking MOUSE I shared my apartment with for two weeks back in 2018. I was literally in TEARS cleaning that mess.

I don’t properly WASH MY FEET but at least I don’t have MICE UNDER THE FRIDGE.

I'm all set today to go for a run, nip up B&Q and Tesco, do some gardening, paint some more of the house.

Except for still being sat in bed that is. Other than that, ALL SET

We had a new washing machine delivered a few weeks ago. When I moved the old one out i nearly cried at the dirt and grime under it. And I usually pride myself on how clean the place is.

I've put on 3lbs this week despite walking constantly. I give up :(

My flatmate and his gf binged watch a place in the sun episodes all last night. I came into the living room disgusted then ended up sticking around to watch four episodes.

Popped a wee Zopiclone last night to get a half-decent conk out sleep. Which I got but now everything tastes like shit and I'm le-thar-gic.

Ah, so good to sleep off yesterday's hangover. Must go for a run today even if I BOIL TO DEATH

I had a cocktail delivery for a friend's birthday zoom a couple of weeks ago :disco:

My next door but one neighbours are too involved in INTERNATIONAL ESPIONAGE* to mend their leaky downpipe so my garden is all soggy

In related news my neighbours flew a DRONE over my garden yesterday while I was SUNBATHING TOPLESS which I thought was a BIT MUCH

*I'm just assuming this because you never see them, once in a blue moon I hear them outside talking in foreign and their overgrown garden is full of enormous SATELLITE DISHES

Boobs proud and bobbing, was it? I’ll keep an eye out for you in the READERS’ WIVES section of next month’s Fiesta :disco:
