When’s the launch time?
I'm unnecessarily giddy about a launch to the ISS tonight because there's a chance of watching it launch live on the laptop and then going outside 20 minutes later and seeing Dragon fly over in real life. It's so surreal seeing all the launch crew clad head to foot in black and wearing masks, it looks like Bob and Doug are being kidnapped by ninja extremists.
I toyed with the idea of letting Ron Jr stay up for it but the iffy weather put me off, I showed him some of the prep though before bed to get excited about and I’ll watch it with him again in the morning.
There are loads of videos on NASA's website too if he's interested in spacey stuff. It's not just the iffy weather there, there's lots of wispy cloud here too but it's still a reasonable chance it'll be scrubbed. I've not heard any talk of launch windows so I assume if it's off it's off for today.

He does, we always watch the Space X launches/landings when they do them. Back when I was homeschooling we went to Jodrell Bank on a 'school trip'
If it was 100% he'd be up now watching it live.

I've got an ISS app but I don't understand it.

My app says this for today's passes:
Start / End / Peak / Mg
21:20:27 21:27:12 84°S -2.8
22:57:21 23:01:51 32°SW -2.1
What are PEAK and MG and why are some passes highlighted - are they the BEST ones and if so why?
Right I'm on your NASA site now... so a high peak is good cos you've more chance of seeing it without shit getting in the way.
