Moopy's Greatest Dance Anthems - The Results Thread

Sunshine is such a joy. One of the gay venues in Brighton always used to play this in the late noughties. Fresh!

(I would also like to confirm that I'm actually not doing anything harder than a box of Choco Leibniz tonight, sorry ravers)

Bicep is a bit classy for the company. It would sound better surrounded by other downbeat songs rather than a load of nineties pill anthems.

I couldn't find the playlist on the YouTube app on my telly, so I had to connect my laptop and play it on the telly through that. I have now moved the mouse so that it's on the table next to me to let me skip the adverts without getting up. I'm basically a technician.

I "saved" the playlist on Youtube on my laptop and then logged in on the app and there it was. For future reference.

I didn't come to love No Limit until I was much older. It was fucking everywhere at the time. Even had a Spitting Image parody :disco:

It was Eileen that pointed out to me that the main riff to No Limits was VERY similar to the main riff of a Fall song from a couple of years earlier.

This one:

(not the riff in the intro, the one after the drums kick in)

It felt like a bit of a palate cleanser for what's about to come... I had toyed with putting it later in the list, but I needed to put something modern in the first half.

I can barely post, read and watch right now nevermind with alcohol in me. I'll wait 3 minutes before going to the next song. My set up for doing this is confusing me.

Oh now! I wasn't really familiar with this but after a few listens I had to give it points. Although it is STILL NO "THE SIGN".

I don't know this one! I also didn't realise there was a slightly chunky man in the band. Hope that's not the Nazi one :(
