Moopy's Greatest Dance Anthems - The Results Thread

Never liked Olive. SOZ!
More of a Blakey girl I take it :horny:

You were going to get a KILLER MIX ALERT with the Oakenfold / Osbourne mix of ‘You’re Not Alone’ except it’s not on YouTube! SAVAGES!

Can't believe we're having this old rubbish when the Florence and the Machine version exists!!

:ghost:

In 8th place: The Source ft. Candi Staton - You Got The Love

This has been re-released yearly in a slightly different version since 1986, so it's difficult to know which version to use here. So I used this one, because it's FUCKING AMAZING.

I often think that I don't like 'You've Got The Love' but then I hear it and it's great. I think I probably blame Florence and the Machine.

Remember when this was used in the final scene of Sex and the City, and we all cheered because it meant we'd never have to deal with those four harridans ever again? Little did we know :o

And where are they now?

He's On The Phone is one I didn't actually know until the last one of these dance rates (I know, shh) but it's become a FIRM FAVOURITE.

I loved one of the 90s Source/Candi versions though I link it with somebody once burning me (accidentally) on the neck with a cigarette tip on the dance floor.

Good Christ. Still good that you learned well.

The Motiv8 Mix is EVERYTHING AND A BIT MORE

Saint Etienne. Adore the song, scored it in the semi finals. Not sure I can score it above others in a Dance Anthem rate in a final.

Never liked Baby D either, skipping that when it comes up! BURN ME!

What a MONSTER. @ButterTart, just look at these awful truths she’s revealing! LOCK YOUR DOORS!

On the Baby D front, THIS is my favourite mix for some reason although I may well be the only person in the whole world who thinks so :side-eye:
