Who put Saturday in the Wych Elm?

Also in the MESS of last night I won 2 trophy points :disco:

I'm not that keen on the idea of Zoom watching Eurovision. I suspect that having a dozen or so people on the line, all with the show at a slightly different point, may become irritating.

Last night I was hungry and craving something but didn't know what. Mr F was making himself toast with his special, hard-to-source-during-lockdown, malted granary uncut loaf. I made him cut me three doorstop slices and I had them toasted with butter and squeezy golden syrup on and they were fit! Now I feel so bad about eating his bread that I'm going to have to go on a drive round today to see whether I can find any more. :(

What to do with a can of evaporated milk I semi panic bought three months ago?

sorry, Google led me to believe they were pretty much the same, I see evaporated milk is unsweetened. so no, that would not work. I guess you could simmer it out of the can with sugar added though

Put some water in it and make some milk

I had condensed milk on toast once, as per the serving recommendation of a promotional squeeze tube. The milk itself turned me into a fridge goblin that kept squirting a bit on my finger. But I tried the toast and it was SO sweet that I felt sick even thinking about condensed milk afterwards

Finished work, knackered. I decided to get drunk, make curry and watch a film. But I’ve diverged slightly.

I almost put on Miss Congeniality, but I’ve settled on Pee Wee Herman’s Christmas Special.

Grace Jones just emerged from a packing crate and is singing her version of Little Drummer Boy

I'm not drinking at the moment so I feel quite refreshed today.

Went to order my Tesco grocery delivery and there was a normal slot available for a five quid delivery charge so I chose that and left the priority slot that was only two quid delivery (but you're only allowed 80 items on a priority slot) for somebody else. There I was, happily filling my basket with all manner of necessary goodies not realising that you're now restricted to 85 items on a normal slot. I hadn't even put the dog's products into the basket by the time it told me I'd gone over my limit so then had to go down the list taking things out of the basket so that the bloody dog can eat next week. :(

What sort of food is he on? We’ve started giving Benson FISH based dog food which is supposedly healthier than the chicken one he used to have and somehow stops him from shedding so much hair!

Won't lie, I was just a bit rough when the postie rang my bell at 9 so I waddled back to bed. I kinda needed that tho' after yesterday - mass Bandcamp activity, more cash to the right places (artists and causes), a really ace online gig and then here for more variations on "Moopyrate" than I ever thought possible.

Can I put this Christmas Special on the drunk rewatch schedule for December? It’s the queerest thing I’ve seen since Moopyvision Karaoke

The guests are basically the contents of the Gay Interest 1987 directory

That’s because the fish eat the hair from the inside :)

I want to share this gay fantasy of a programme with you all :D

it’s like the tag cloud (RIP) made flesh

He only has Butchers Senior, Asda Senior and Tesco Senior tins (in rotation, so Tesco this morning, Asda tonight and Butchers tomorrow morning) and a Naturo Senior turkey one once a week on Sunday night as a treat. He's only allowed half the usual amount of food for a dog his size (to keep his weight consistent and not go over 50kg) and he's allergic to so many things that any change to his food routine (even changing from one brand mixer biscuit to another) usually results in "explosions" the like of which you'd never want to see sprayed up your kitchen cupboards. He's half Malamute so is constantly blowing his coat. What food have you got Benson on now? Ridley loves fish, his tummy doesn't, but the vet gave me a plan years ago how to trial different food to see how badly it affects him and whether gradually increasing amounts will desensitize him to it (which we managed to do with the ones he now eats).

God after doing a gruelling four days at work this week I’d forgotten how there’s literally FUCK ALL to do on yours days off if the weather is shit.

Guess I’ll clean the flat, go to Tesco and drink wine till I pass out AGAIN.
