Monday eats VoR

Had an "early" night which was actually me waking up after essentially a 20 minute power nap, feeling completely refreshed and couldn't sleep at all. Annoyed.

I haven’t been on public transport since before the start of lockdown.

it gives me a bit of anxiety thinking about commuting again, which I know is ridiculous as it will have to happen at some point, but until then my thoughts will keep me busy
 
There a total of 3 people on my bus and it’s getting to my office in half the time so it’s really quite pleasant. Also it’s FREE.
 
Train was quite busy today. I can never comprehend the selfishness of cunts who bring eleven kids and their sizeable suitcase collection on a commuter service at the best of times, let alone during lockdown when there’s NOWHERE TO FUCKING GO.
 
There’s quite a nice dystopian (is this an oxymoron?) message being played on a loop on the tannoy at London Bridge: “we want to thank you key workers for helping to keep the economy going in these times. Remember to etc etc”

Me and my friends did this once after an all-night flight from America, we got the train at Heathrow right at peak rush hour. Nightmare. We live literally the other end of London as well. Got some LOOKS I can tell you.

I’ve been walking to work since the lockdown started which has been really nice. I had to get the bus once because it was pissing down, and I was the only person on it there and back.
 
I'm trying to remember the last time I went on public transport. I think I took a train in October.

I got the tram into Manchester the other week, I went fully prepared in my DIY hazmat and it was EMPTY
 
I despise public transport at the best of times never mind at the arse end of a PANDEMIC . :zombie:

I only managed to contact Easyjet 7 days before my flights. A month seems fine.

The problem with Georgia is that they’re phasing in air travel as of the first of July, so there’s a possibility that the flight won’t be cancelled. I just want them to push it back a couple of months so I don’t have to contend with quarantine.
 
I just tried uploading a photo of myself in bus wanker face mask and got a warning from imgur.

I'm clearly a terrorist in a cat face mask.

My easyjet flight wasnt cancelled either. They did fuck about with the flights though - yeah, sure, I'll fly out from liverpool and back to manchester, with no possibility of getting public transport at those times and no hotels to stay overnight.

They did at least give me a voucher.

I’ll wait on for them, then. I’ve never had to cancel a flight before so the rage is already building before they’ve even had a chance to do anything.
 
I've been offered a job just outside Palma in Mallorca. My instinct tells me to take it, as the interview left a good impression and I'm always drawn to places with the sea and mountains.

Having said that, I'm waiting to hear back from Madrid, and if I'm offered it things will get confused. Madrid is bigger so theoretically it should be easier to live there as an international person and to make friends. But the school didn't give me the same good vibes, and I really struggled at times in Milan because I get a bit lost in big, booming cities.

So I'm half hoping the Madrid school doesn't offer me it just so I don't have to choose.
