More than a hint of the CRJ about it but the new Kiesza single is catchy as:

The video is a budget affair but it is cute and she looks great.

awful video but the track is very e*mo*tion*al. i like.

i quite like this bit of throwaway non-coronavirus-related bit of fun now.

I really love this song.

AY AY AY I believe in love, I believe in love again :disco:

I was having a listen to her post-success output the other day and a mixed bag probably covers it.

All of the Feelings, Crave and now this freestyle-inspired banger:

:disco:

I wouldn't have imagined being particularly bothered about a Kiesza album in 2020 but here we are.

The album is out this week. It is front loaded but some excellent stuff on there, though I'm not sure what is meant to be going on with last track. Can't Be Saved and Run Renegade are the best of the new songs:

I definitely need to give this a listen. The previously released songs were fabulous.

Listening now.

hopefully will perk me up

Listened today. Way more poppy than expected and all the better for it. Much better than the first album which completely passes my by no matter how many times I try to listen.

Very Carly Rae isn't it?!

If this was Carly Rae, this thread would be calling it the second coming

Very much E•MO•TION Carly Rae in large part.

I am loving the album now, even the bizarre mish mash of the last track. I've ordered the CD which tacks a couple of singles from last year on the end.

I wrote it off at the time but I've come to love When Boys Cry. for an artiste as MAXIMALIST and bombastic as Kiesza it's really remarkably understated.

anyway here's a new remix

When Boys Cry isn't my favourite but it does have a lightness of touch and is a necessary change of pace.

There is strangely no mention of the two cd bonus tracks anywhere in the booklet. I guess she maybe didn't want to fill the album proper up with old singles, but Sweet Love in particular is really good and worthy of a spot:

Yes I rather enjoyed this album when listened earlier this week too !
First one bar the singles left me COLD

there's also a 9:53 edit if anyone fancies listening to this 2010-lite nonsense for LITERALLY DAYS

A deluxe from last week with a couple of new songs. Dying For You is nice, not feeling the other one:

The latest in her list of features is really good. A rather moody dance number:
