"Don't Start Now" is still at #4 and gained spins today...

I note that Don't Start Now has just fallen out the top 10 after TWENTY FIVE WEEKS.

And would probably still be there if it hadn't hit ACR last week. Just like Blinding Lights would have returned to #1 had it not similarly fallen victim.

Apparently Radio 2 have played Levitating suggesting it might be the 4th single. It seems the best option, but I will need a Love Again video at some point.

Break My Heart is still doing well - currently #34 (+5) on the Hot 100 and top 15 in the UK with top 20/30 peaks across Europe. I am secretly pleased it hasn't outperformed Physical though.

How has the album performed across Europe?

Hard to say - it's not currently top 100 in Germany or Netherlands, but is still #5 in France, #6 in Australia, #14 in Belgium & Sweden and #4 in Ireland. It seems to be performing roughly in line with The Weeknd's album in most countries.

I don't know for sure but I'd hazard a guess that the countries it's no longer charting don't include streaming (Germany definitely doesn't). Sales alone for the album will likely be shit because it came out during lockdown and is now old enough that a lot of shops/supermarkets won't be stocking it in big numbers.

With a fourth single over summer (I imagine Levitating will do pretty well) it should inch its way to gold in most places before the inevitable reissue comes.

Probably also worth noting that she's not doing that well on Spotify in Germany either though - currently at #69 (Break My Heart), #70 (Don't Start Now) and #107 (Physical).

She is ridiculously popular here (the Netherlands). The album is still in the top 3. Peak positions of her singles in our Top 40:

05 Be the One
10 Hotter Than Hell
10 No Lie
02 Scared to Be Lonely
01 New Rules
02 Homesick
04 IDGAF
01 One Kiss
05 Electricity
02 Don't Start Now
04 Physical
02 Break My Heart

Oh yeah, it's #3, not sub-top 100 :D amazing!

I do love that the Netherlands and Belgium (my current home country and future home country respectively) stan the shit out of pop music.

The album is clinging on to the Portuguese top 40 at #40 having peaked at #2. It was #1 in Spain but I don’t think it’s in the top 40 currently.

Love that this thread has become local correspondents chiming in with hot news of current chart positions in their markets :disco:

Alexis Jordan’s Happiness is still the 16th most successful song EVER here. Deserved, but quite random.

That is so RANDOM but my god what a delight of a song. :disco: along with GOOD GIRL :disco:

Never has an artist had two songs on such a high peak followed by an absolute nadir of an album (and career)

It's absolutely burning up radio and climbing Spotify so should at the very least go top 20 soon. It's done in the UK though - time to push Levitating here

I saw some incensed Camila Cabello Twitter fans EXPOSING that Dua Lipa STOLE from INXS for Break My Heart the other day. Scandalous.

A crime that Break My Heart never broke the Top 20. One of the best songs I've heard in the past 10 years. And never get sick of it.

I'd go for Love Again over Levitating but i'm always here for more Dua.

The label has said that it's going to be a long campaign. I see no reason why they should have changed their mind yet.

The only thing is there'll be a reissue later this year and it'd be nice to squeeze out two more singles, with videos, before then - I also hope and pray for a Love Again push.

I thought "Cool" was the stronger single choice for summer but what do I know.

Break My Heart has entered the top 10 at US radio, is climbing Spotify and will be Hot 100 top 20 in a week or two... I think it will go top 10, the omens are great. It has the highest "callout scores" (audience feedback) of any song on pop radio right now apparently.

Don't Start Now is still top 10 at radio and is now one of the 5 most streamed songs of the year there.

Amazingly enough, Physical is still the #1 most streamed song released by a female artist so far this year (on Spotify). And she just grabbed the #2 spot as well with Break My Heart.

IDGAF just became her third song to hit a billion streams, and Don't Start Now will become her fourth soon, making her the only female (I believe) with four 1b+ streaming smashes. :o

What a queen :disco: Gagged at how big IDGAF has become, I didn’t even realise!

To think we live in a world where Love Again - Hallucinate - Cool would be an AMAZING run of singles, yet it’s possible NONE of those songs will get the single treatment :o

My insta has been AWASH with the purple and yellow vinyls but being the contrary Mary I am I decided to plump for the HMV picture disc :disco:

The vinyl is pink rather than purple and it's absolutely stunning. :disco: still need to get a player to actually play it on mind you.

"Break My Heart" is top five on pop radio in America, and should reach #4 in a few days. A second consecutive number one isn't out of the question, it's gaining on everything ahead of it.

Another UK Queen DOMINATES.

Amy, Adele, Duffy, Geru :disco:

As of this week, Future Nostalgia is currently the UK's biggest selling album released in 2020 (overtaking Eminem) with 137.5k to date. Still #6 for the year behind an all-2019 top 5. The sales seem a bit LOW but hopefully it can keep ticking over nicely all year and make its way past platinum with a well-handled reissue.

Is that "pure sales" or "sales plus streaming"? I would think platinum wouldn't be out of reach at all with the inclusion of streams and such.

Even indie/underground snobs are stanning Queen Dua - The Quietus included the album in their Top 20 of the year so far.

Not SURE but I'm going to hazard a GUESS it's SPS

Break My Heart just surpassed Physical to become the highest streamed female song of 2020 so far. Both will pass 300m this week. :disco:
