Flux didn't, despite an early flurry of votes. Gutted about that one.Fuck me Papillion got in after BT rigged it.
It is a GREAT SONG.
Did Flux get through?

It did not. I think we're going to have to re-run semi final 1 until the rest of them GET IT RIGHT.Did Flux get through?
REVOLTING!Flux didn't, despite an early flurry of votes. Gutted about that one.
Ian Curtis innit.Who is it he sings like? I want to say the man from Interpol, or are they both singing in the style of someone else I don't know![]()
Sad thing is I think Indie will be fully on your side on that one, so we're basically fucked.Ok with that Flux info I'd like Moopy to be switched off. I basically run it, so I'll sort that now.
FLUX is amazing as is the whole Weekend in the City album (MOOPY SYSNC listen please)Ok with that Flux info I'd like Moopy to be switched off. I basically run it, so I'll sort that now.
Drowned in a puddle of his vomit hun.
I think it's why ones like that, Angel City and Mason from last week do so well. They're beloved because there was nothing else similar around at the time to dilute them. The mid 00s always SURPRISE ME with the ODD DANCE BANGER. It was quite a DRY SPELL.
Was Heartbroken in? I'll be sad if it wasn't, but not Flux sad.I think it's why ones like that, Angel City and Mason from last week do so well. They're beloved because there was nothing else similar around at the time to dilute them.
Luciana is another one that has clearly written her own Wikipedia entry. There's a whole big section about how most listeners don't know that the two names she records under are the same person because she's so versatile. Lots of citation needed.

Oh.Fucking hell
"When singing as "Luciana", Caporaso's vocal style often revolves around sassy, playful, rhythmic speech-song, often with intentionally brazen lyrics and speaking quality, interspersed with bits of outright singing. Because of the lack of tonal quality to this style, the backing music for many of her songs incorporate bass and synth licks that move through chromatic scale segments, giving the music an unusual, edgy sound that contrasts the completely tonal (or modal) music that forms nearly all of the music by other artists in the dance/electronic and pop genres."
Sunrise and Love Me Right Up The Sheila were both nominated, and both qualified. Was Heartbroken in? I'll be sad if it wasn't, but not Flux sad.
I mean Heartbroken by T2.Sunrise and Love Me Right Up The Sheila were both nominated, and both qualified.
Me tooOh THANK GOD. I had to cull this. Prefer Girl and the Robot.
