I just went arse over tit in the garden, fell backwards and ended up on the grass with two wrought-iron gates on top of me. Going to have a lovely bruise on my forearm and have got scrawps all down my arm and the side of my hand. Managed not to land in any dog muck so I'm calling it a win even though my arm's stinging like fuck. Just hope the neighbour's CCTV wasn't on ...

Falling over as an adult is so much more dramatic and haa so many more parts to it than falling over as kid. I literally think the last time it happened to me was 10 years ago when I proper winded myself and thankfully (now, not at the time) no one was around

Falling over as an adult is just so ungraceful. My body had no idea how to deal with it, arms flailing whilst trying to stop the gates hitting my face or knocking my front teeth out.

I fell over in the street about three years ago. It was more a shock than it was painful. Although grit in wounds remains awful.

I had one ripped from my face in Ibiza, by a dentist who spoke no English, and while my Spanish learning hadn't got to the 'what are you doing to my mouth' lesson

It was impacting and so was a fucking mess, it came out in bits after a lot of struggling and she called me superman after. I didn't feel like superman.
