I know I did that poll and all, but we've got a few days to kill until the LIVE GALA FINAL on Friday 24th July so we might as well.
To respect the people who want to use the original scores AND those who want to rate, here's how it will work. The existing scores are locked in (Consider them the jury vote). Anyone who wants to now has the chance to rate all of the songs in the top 50. The scores from this rate will then be the 'public' vote, and will be added to the current points to produce their final total. Say, for example, Bob Sinclair's 'World Hold On' received 50 points from last week's vote, and 50 points from the rate, its combined final total would be 100. I know you'd probably worked that out already, but I just know I'll get questions if I don't spell shit out.
If you're rating, here are the rules:
You MUST assign a score to every song - the minimum is 1, the maximum is 9, and you can give as many of those out as you like.
You may also give out a limited number of higher points, the denominations are as follows:
UP TO:
5 x 10 points
1 x 12 points
1 x 14 points
1 x 16 points
1 x 18 points
1 x 20 points
Please send your rates to me as an alphabetical list, rather than sorted from highest to lowest score, no later than 6pm on FRIDAY 24TH JULY.
If you don't want to rate, don't worry. Your scores from the first round of voting will still be used, so you'll still have had your say.
