On an hour long Skype meeting to talk through the feelings we’ve had during lockdown. I’d sooner drink piss.
The managers have been asked to get us all to share our positive experiences from lockdown to forward to the senior leaders. So I told them the senior leaders have treated the office based workers with contempt and have actively harmed our mental health with their lack of regard for us and our wellbeing.Work are asking you to do that?
In what setting? Is it facilitated by someone qualified to do so? say it's potentially very irresponsible, never mind toecurlingly excruciating.
DONE. Bit of cross promotion for my Only Fans account.Anyway, tell them you've discovered 23 new ways to masturbate (and that #17 will shock them!), and offer to show them.
This is the cholecystectomy? I remember I cried when I was leaving the hospital for Mr L to have his. And then cried again when I had the phone call that he'd survived the op.Having a very stressful morning. Mr F passed a stone ten minutes before we were due to leave for the hospital, my toilet looked like something out of Saw. Didn't have time to clean it properly so had to leave it till I got back. Dropped him off at hospital, came home, cleaned up the bathroom, hoovered everywhere, stripped and remade the beds and brought the bins in. Obviously I'm waiting for a phonecall from the hospital and I've had ten people ring my mobile up to now and I jump at each one and my stomach knots up. I haven't had ten calls to it in total in the last month! I'm not sure how many more times I can say "... but I'll let you know when I hear owt" before I lose the plot completely and go on a rampage.

Well, the upshot of it has been that someone working from home claims she’s been told people in the office have said home workers don’t deserve annual leave or the pay rise, so now we’ve had a cuntily worded e-mail telling us it’s discrimination and we’ll be subject to a disciplinary if it’s said again.I do seriously think it's irresponsible. Largely because they aren't interested in the negatives. And obviously I can see why, but if you're going to ask people to talk about the positives, naturally people will also have to consider them. And that could throw up all sorts of emotional shit for people to deal with, for nothing more than managers being able to feed their own egos. And it's even worse when it's done by Skype, zoom or whatever, because when that ends, people who have possibly been exposed emotionally are just sitting their on their own, having to face the fallout of it.
In my line of work we talk about feelings all the time, but it's done in a very structured way, one to one, or with a BACP accredited facilitator.
I just think it's a CUNTY way of going about things, and really NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS, unless it's something that your employer has caused to be positive. And then the negative should very much be on the table as well.
Two! Strangely, the many complaints have been brushed aside for the headline ‘staff proud to work for department’.Am I right in thinking you work for DWP @ButterTart? Was there not a civil service wide staff survey about Lockdown and WFH?

Oh do fuck off universe
I’m on the train to Glasgow and it was like we ran something (hopefully not someone) over?
so the train has now come to stand still
why does god hate me so much today? I’m no gayer than I was yesterday![]()
Sounds like it was straightforward enough at least. I remember with Mr L they mentioned that there was a 10% chance that when they got in there, things might not be positioned a certain way and they would have to rummage around a bit more, and that would mean an overnight stay.Mr F is home safe and sound and gallbladderless. I'm so happy and relieved at the moment but give it 24 hours till my sympathy runs out and I'm taking him cold soup for tea.
