I woke up at 4.30 this morning in a sweaty mess and opened the landing window to see whether I could still see any meteors. I was too late for meteors but I watched the beginnings of a beautiful sunrise then went back to bed.

I feel like the walking dead now.
 
My main thoughts are that 4 is a much more severe looking number than 3 or 2, which are both quite cute.
 
4 is my favourite number. Shame I'll be onto 5 within months.
 
Not for the first time my birthday is obscenely hot. Better than rain but only by a bit.
 
Many happy returns Agnetha of the internet. I'm not far behind you and I honestly don't feel remotely near 40.
 
If you want conclusive proof that I neither believe that I am or act like I am a grown up, I just had some mushrooms because I don't feel like working.
 
Morning loves. Gym and swim done, now deciding what to do with the rest of the day, other than melting. Love me some summer but fuck off back to 23 degrees or so, please.
 
Is it ok to go topless in the office of I’m the only one here I’ve popped in just to wait for a package to be picked up and I’m MELTING.
 
FFS I dragged myself into the office and opened it up today just so we could have one parcel collected, and now the freight company is saying it's going to be TOMORROW, despite yesterday saying it would be TODAY. FUCKERS.

Argh. That sort of thing gets RIGHT on my tits.
 
I tried to explain to my bosses that putting me on 1 day a week whilst they were both out of the country for a month WASN'T going to work for reasons like this. After tomorrow I'm only allowed to work ONE MORE DAY this month.
 
I believe that I could survive only working one more day this month. At least it would mean that I would receive fewer pointless spreadsheets from dickheads.
 
I'm still having to answer e-mails each day though as neither of them can be ARSED checking or replying to them.
 
You'd think they'd be a bit more KEEN to hang onto the HANDFUL of clients we currently have.
 
They’re both out of the country and I’m the only one who knows the passwords so i’d basically just have to CHANGE THE LOCKS.
 
Taking a trip to the more rural prefectures turns out to have been a good call.

It’s reminded me that the world hasn’t stopped totally, and that I’m in Japan because I’m still in love with it

I had an AWFUL sleep last night as we had thunder and lightning here from around 10.30 last night until 6am this morning. I don’t think I ever remember a storm that went on quite so long.
 
Yes, it seem to go on and on here too. The lightning was something else. I've never seen something like it.

One of my friends neighbours car floated away. :o:D

Oh dear. The A9 was at standstill due to floods here too. FREAK WEATHER. I really felt sorry for my son having to drive him to school today as he didn’t sleep a wink.

I do love a good storm and found myself looking out my bedroom window for a lot of the night, but that was really taking the PISS.
