It's Alternative Night in the Moopy discotheque and it's time to dance like straight people. Join me on Friday night for an evening of upbeat guitar songs, male vocals and, quite possibly, a guy badly misjudging the nature of his audience.

I’m more than a little curious. Can we have a preview? Are we talking britpop, classic rock, grunge, alternative or all of the above?

Lots of britpop and alternative. Mostly 90s onwards, so not really any classic rock. We aren't talking about proper dance songs for the most part but they should all be songs that you can dance to. My aim was to create a playlist for a club's nostalgic alternative night.
