I've just been re-reading the thread with all the alternate Moopyrate proposals and I was quite clearly making liberal use of Wikipidia when I was coming up with things like Moopybifurcate and Moopytitrate....
 
I remember being absolutely bladdered on that Moopyrate night, I CRINGED quite a lot rereading my posts in there the next morning.
 
Came in here expecting to write a list but reading through all the posts I simply can't choose. It's all been absolute GOLD.

The Spice Karaoke night I remember I was laughing constantly. Absolutely brilliant.

The first Eurovision 1998 rewatch was the first one I took part in as a sort of "oh go on then" and now I'm hooked.
 
Eurovision rewatches are the reason I’m here, the ones in the early days were certainly the best.
The drunk rewatches and all the CAT FIGHTS on what we should watch next, followed by loads of squabbling in the daily thread the next day.
ASFM and drunk Rita’s results rampage
Winning POTW after a few weeks whilst it took DC 294949394 years.
Taking part in Mafia, not having a clue what was going on, and coming back from a dog walk to find myself DEAD.
The buildup to the Kalavision that never was.
Getting drunk on the Dance Anthem nights
Managing to run Festival Di Soldi fairly smoothly, up until cwej ruined the deciding vote by telling everyone beforehand Cuba was his favourite.
Secret words and DIRTY FUCKING SNEAKING CUNTS
They’re quite HIDDEN now but some of the daily threads resulted in some rather weird and wonderful conservations, Rachey’s dead fish for example.
 
Genuinely not trying to be a dick when I ask this because I'm old and my memory is failing me... did we actually ever finish the FIRST Kalavision or did that get scrapped too?

I'm getting all my '-visions' mixed up.
 
I remember really enjoying the drunk rewatches of the Madonna concerts.

ALTHOUGH it was at the height of lockdown and I remember having that 'I want to go out and dance' post-concert feeling, and just being a bit SAD.

Lockdown Moopy giveth and it taketh away.

Ag ran the first one, which went very smoothly indeed, and was won by @RaspberrySwirl, who then decided to tell everyone he hated the song.

Kala had already said he’d do the next one, but then stormed off for a few weeks for reasons I don’t know. He started the current one after FdS and we’re just waiting for him to return when he’s ready to reveal the final results.
 
The first game of Mafia nearly killed me and, like most things, it was all @Penelope's fault.

Trying to stop him getting lynched by the villagers whilst he wasn't around to help and a large group of Mafia that I thought we had already killed once worked against us was the absolute peak of my lockdown stress levels.
 
I was just very confused by a new poster suddenly appearing and fitting in so well (as well as being knowledgeable about Eurovision), I knew ZG was aware of Moopy so I thought he'd been doing some secret hardcore lurking then made a secret account :basil:
 
Yes the FIRST NIGHT (which was the 1996 rewatch if I recall correctly) everyone asked me if I was a ZU which confused me no end. It wasn’t until she returned from her jollies weeks later that those rumours were put to bed. Zu also LOATHED me in those first few weeks and called me SATAN :(

I must have just stumbled across it looking for something Eurovision related at some point. Obviously this place stuck out more than others and I kept coming back to have a read every now and then.

My first real taste of Moopy was reading SuRie’s thread in the Eurovision forum around the time she announced her tour of Pizza Expresses in the South East. I stuck around a bit more during the national final season, read some of Moopy Gold, and finally bit the bullet one night in early lockdown!

SPOOKILY I already followed Suomi and Penelope on Twitter LONG BEFORE I ever joined. I also can’t quite believe there’s now two members from CHESTERFIELD :D

Maybe! I was having a sensitive moment and saw a topic on the other place making fun of Moopy couples, which I took personally and mentioned it made me feel like shit in the daily thread (edited it shortly after). Then before I knew it the other place was in 'maintenance mode' and our Zu may or may not be gone again :(

The other place really was three of our best posting absolute trash. I'm sure we have certain hidden forums they could run wild in.

I may have fanned the flames of this by specifically stalking @Soldi and making sure to reference him and not contradict him in my private conversations. The WhatsApp chat around the time was particularly paranoid
