A Song For Moopy: Iguana edition - THE RESULTS!

You did amazing, but I have to say the task of listening to 40 songs in a week was pretty daunting. Along with busy time at work, for me I do much prefer the two semis way of doing things personally as it just gives time to think about it. But each to their own - your comp, your rules, and you did a great job.

Cheers @cwej , there's always going to be a clamour for both semis and no semis, it's nice to have it both ways at different times I think

I take it you won't be participating in @ZenGiraffe 's one-night A Song For Moopy then?
 
BURSTING with excitement for CONCOURS DE LA ZEN GIRAFFE where we have to send, listen and vote all in one night. I might go out to make it EXTRA TRICKY. :disco:
 
I have no idea when it will be as it will be very dependent on when we have sufficient numbers of people with 5 hours to spare. So it could be a long way off. However, I am going to do the planning soonish so that I can whack it out at relatively short notice.

I think Iguanavision has proved that it's totally possible to ditch the semifinals even with 40 songs. Otherwise it drags too much and the final will also be less exciting.
 
NEWS: I think queen Nokko has inspired Iguana and he is currently doing a Japanese Duolingo lesson. Or he and Diddy have made plans to run away together idk.
 
I think if we do a one-nighter, there should be a theme announced at the start of the night, so people can’t think of their entry in advance. Already anticipating the carnage.

I’m not sure I could deal with a Kala like theme and have to submit my song in one hour

the pressure would be too much
