@OutSynk was pressuring me to host well before he actually won, so this was the natural outcome.

Also his theme involved Chemsex and it was either retreat into my Bible for a few weeks or steer us to somewhere a little more sedate.

Me too! When I was putting together the ASFM sync playlist last Friday, I checked with Ag and Soldi they were happy for me to use songs from their contests and I said to @Soldi "It will feature your WINNING ENTRY!"

I’m thinking the covered song can be well known but the cover itself not otherwise what’s the point?

On a personal level, I’d like to see less familiar versions of well known songs. This isn’t a rule, just what I envisaged going into this. Of the ones sent in so far, I will say that people haven’t been shy about tackling the classics.

Definitely stay away from the very well-known stuff I would say.
