So album is out Friday. Quite looking forward to a strong pure-pop effort based on the 6/7(!) singles and grat tracks.

Up to a new peak of #66 on the Billboard Hot 100 too. Maybe she really is going for an Xmas #1 :o

some very good points were made here.

Tattoo sounds like a hit (clip on IG). excited for Friday :disco:

Oh no. I should have seen it coming, but the album is a bit fillery. :(

THIS ALBUM IS OUT AND IT IS FAB :disco:

Naked and Born to the Night are great. Naked video

I think it will be big. (not sure why it's in 4:3...)

I think the album is great. Yeah it's just throwaway pop, but I could def listen to it a few times through!

It’s such a good album (even if we have heard at least half of it already). I like that there is still place for uncomplicated pop music like this (and that it still, largely, sells).

The hook on OMG What’s Happening is quite special.

I'll go in for a loon rate

07 HEAVEN
07 Kings & Queens
08 Naked
07 Tattoo
08 OMG What's Happening
08 Call Me Tonight
09 Born to the Night
10 Torn
07 Take You to Hell
10 Who's Laughing Now
05 Belladonna
08 Rumours
06 So Am I
10 Salt
10 Sweet But Psycho

:disco:

I find her a likeable popstar, a bit of a throwback, her visuals are improving in real-time and her voice is really the killer element here and sells every song.

The lyrics across the board are hot trash and need work. Having her bf produce the whole album has resulted in a consistent sound that suits her to a tee. GOOD WORK AMANDA.

please tell me she credits the Major Tom sample in Born into the night :D

I found the album incredibly derivative, albeit GOOD but had me thinking she was serving Kesha, Katy, Marina and obviously Gaga at the same time!

he had nothing to do with it, he just gets credited due to Cirkut's publishing deal as he was once Luke's protege

I've been listening to Naked an UNHEALTHY amount of times today, what a B O P

It's a song Kim Petras would kill for,
oh Bonnie McKee, we've missed you and if Katy doesn't want you back I'm all for Ava becoming your next muse.

Looks like it's going to be one of the lowest weekly totals ever for a #1, whoever gets it.

still #1 today with her lead extended to 400 copies. looking at some truly terrible sales for a number one album though, probably around 7.5k :D

With sales that low we're probably looking at an impressive second week fall as well.
