This may or may have not leaked a few weeks ago :angel: but Arca's new album KiCk i has been OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED! And WHAT an album cover :disco:

Time was my song AND video of the year so far within seconds. So beautiful and melodic -


and there was of course the FAR less melodic, but visually stunning Nonbinary video a few weeks back :disco:

haven't seen the new one, but the nonbinary visual was stunning *.*
to be honest the visuals have been on point for a while now.
 
Also thrilled to see Rozalla back. (Honestly I do think some of you girls need to pay attention to your spelling.) All this and West Bromwich Pride 2021! :disco:
 
I'll tell you what, that sleeve is going to have a certain MOB absolutely baying. I look forward to laughing at them, of course.

Time is obviously life-changingly INCREDIBLE, Björk in Spanish, Afterwards, Watch with ShyGirl, the Rosalía track and the BONKERS Sophie collab are of course all highlights plucked from one 38 minute 13 second-long highlight :disco:

that is the bleep.com glow in the dark limited to 500 copies vinyl :D

I managed to snatch one, but they sold out in about 30 mins. There’s surely another colour variant somewhere online though? You can still get the BLOOD RED Mutant vinyl online many years later :D

We really need a moopy vinyl thread don’t we :disco: The gays new favourite way to fritter away disposable income now gig tickets are out of the question :D

The one and only time I’ve seen her live (at the Roundhouse for the Arca album I can confirm there were quite a lot of ‘one dangly earring gays’ in attendance :D

It was also fucking amazing, and she ran around in the crowd on cyborg-style stilts covered in her own blood :disco:
 
She was live a few days ago and gave me a shoutout. She was so sweet. We had a singsong in Spanglish and she even played Mariah's Shake it OFF.
 
I nabbed this on (normal ol') black vinyl...Jolly good, innit? Nice mixture of bonkers electronic skitterclang and actual melody (ie the lovely Calor). It's getting regular spins around here.

As much as our SOPH made a guestie here, she must have been spitting when she heard "Non-Binary" which essentially distills her whole robot-washing-the-cutlery percussion thing into less than 3 minutes.
 
Just popping in to exclaim that this may well be my album of the year. Returning to it much more than I thought I would and even Sister Split Syllables is a welcome presence for once. Also, it‘s the ideal retaliation album to drown out the continually repeated 30 minute playlist of hell from my friend downstairs :disco:
