Oh god I went there for a few days year ago. The warren of alleyways in the old town were amazing but the port ugh.
We took a boat trip which was overpriced nonsense, then took a taxi boat that went to a nearby village for a quarter of the price and was much more pleasant.
 
There was a CULTURAL DARK AGE between the TEEN POP BOOM of the late 90s and GAGA SAVING POP MUSIC in 2009.

So many dreary guitar bands, so many rappers with nothing to say, so many belts on Ashley Tisdale.
