Regardless of the merits or otherwise of them getting a pay rise (and I think that rather than getting angry at MPs getting paid more, we should be more focused on bringing everyone else up. It strikes me as crabs in a bucket the way the article frames it), the snide taking aim at people who work from home is driving me up the wall. It is still working! It also helps keep everyone else a little safer, why would we demonise it?

It's the new divide. There is absolutely an atmosphere around it. Admittedly, they way they farmed it out in here was terrible and didn't help but when a couple of people in one of my old teams came back for a couple of weeks, they were cold-shouldered by a lot of folk. A wee bit like "oh, you think you can just stroll back in after the rest of us have had to put up with ALL THIS?".

It is partly circumstantial. But only partly. It *is* a thing in people's minds.

I think it's on the employer tbh because they had guidelines in place, presumably based on CDC guidelines, knowingly made an exception for him, and now we have to all suffer the consequences. Certainly negligent on their part. If I have Covid I will be building my case!
 
We’re reverting back to stage 2 (but not schools) after we’ve reached a new peak for infections and hospitalization is on the rise.

It feels like everything we did in back in April was for nothing as we’re worse now in terms of numbers than when we went into lockdown.

My rapid was negative but they are sending it for PCR more accurate testing because I have a small fever. Did anyone who has/had it here get a false negative rapid test?
 
Figures rather late today. Must be either struggling to count them all, hiding them at the end of the spreadsheet or picking their jaws up off the floor and wondering how to break it to us...

Deciding how many positive cases they can not count and then add in a few days time due to an excel error :eyes:

Can confirm this is NOT the case on Saturday night. Leicester Sq and Oxford Street area felt as busy as a usual Saturday. Yikes.
