I'd love to know... Has anyone on here actually ever bought a copy of Take A Break, or That's Life etc and found any gems? I inherited boxes of them years ago but sadly didn't see the value...

Is this a non-sequitur to this thread? Or are you asking this because of the ASK JANE segments in there? Normally a woman writing in looking for a reason to justify not liking her sister-in-law for a reason she "can't quite put her finger on". Jane's on hand to tell you your sister-in-law once owned you as a slave so your hatred to her is fully valid.

A friend of mine actually regularly buys Take A Break: Fate and Fortune, partly because they're a witchy queer and partly because it's hysterical. My favourite thing is that they kept the Derek Acorah column going for ages after he died
