This was my initial favourite album track.
I did overplay it though so my opinion of it dimmed. However now it’s back to a 9
It could maybe be RAMPED up even more somehow though I think?

Aphrodite is a bit Kylie trying Rhythm Nation though.
 
I have a feeling that some people will criticise Illusion for not quite getting there or whatever, but it absolutely hits the spot FOR ME.
 
Illusion deserved a sexy masquerade ball video with Kylie doing the dirty on her younger model husband with a rich silver fox and then blaming it all on MASK CONFUSION.

a bit lightweight as a song but i can always pop my gunny to some hot breathy bleep bloop electro. :disco:

Better Than Today sounds totally like The Graduate era Nerina meshing with Scissor Sisters. I prefer when Nerina does this one now than Kylie but this is better than the general slaying it gets by people who want 12 identikit songs on her albums.
 
Illusion is a MOOD PIECE, I like but would rarely think oh I MUST pop Illusion on.

Oh I loved it as it was so different for her but yes it’s really a Nerina song not a Kylie one.

God I strongly love and adore Better Than Today. The singles from this record were supreme. I know this song is randomly despised by the fanbase but it has such infectious rhythm. Absolutely lush melodies at every turn. It's really RELENTLESS.
