Is there anyone not taking part that I can talk with to discuss my options? I've settled on an act but can't decide which song I'm most hooked on

I've entered every contest except one and I've missed the top 10 or 20 every time (apart from winning like).

I need a HIT, and believe in my heart I've found one. Whether they know, believe or hear it, I feel the audience has found one too - they don't need to like, or agree, but they've found one.

A failed campaign and the risk of only being "that Yemen girl" looms harder, but I can live with that.

All of the above, really!

It all gets a bit much for me in some of the frenetic threads sometimes. And I also have a real disinclination to listen to THAT many songs chosen by other people. I'd really resent it by the time I got to track four or five and be totally unreasonable in my scoring. It's why I didn't do any album listen threads by acts I don't like, and rarely listen to music radio.

This is why I abandoned the idea of my gay icons of yesteryear playlist, because I realised that just as I have very little interest in your playlists, most of you will have very little in mine. Although I did evolve the idea and do a playlist for my own delectation, so I got what I wanted out of it!

Sorry if it seems I'm a bit/lot miserable or an arsehole about the ASFMs. I am genuinely baffled by how successful they are, but I'm equally genuinely thrilled that they are doing such business for moopy, whether I'm involved or not. And I appreciate the effort that must go into hosting them, and similar moopy events.
 
Oh god not miserable at all! I think I’d agree but each ASFM I’ve had between 5-10 songs which I’ve kept on my playlists and been introduced to some fab songs I’d otherwise not have heard

Yeah, I've taken a few songs from each one which makes it all worthwhile. Plus, I just like how busy the forum feels during ASFM and how involved everyone gets.
 
What time on Saturday does this close? :o
 
I don’t think anything could top Stateless Moopy Participants or the State of Susie (:angel:)

I just hope every song (particularly mine which I’m sure is included in your first statement) gets a FAIR SHOT. Getting the sense that there may some first night evictions :o
