CHEQUE SPELLED AS CHECK

ALSO PEOPLE WHO STILL USE CHEQUES.

I think my infamously non-confrontational salon-owning friend still accepts CHEQUES from passive-aggressive clients. I‘d tell ‘em to shove it

I mean, why not TROLL ALONG to the post office and get a POSTAL ORDER?

Some people STILL do this. It’s been exactly 8 years since we last accepted them as a form of payment at work but they still occasionally come in.

You can STILL BUY THEM? :D

Can you still round them up using postage stamps?

I think the last time I used a postal order, it was to buy a LEMON BUCKS FIZZ SWEATSHIRT from the fan club. And then my grandmother RUINED it by ironing over Mike Nolan in his lovely kimono :(

Oh my mum ruined my Blondie t-shirt by doing the same thing :(

OMG - and then Mike Nolan flew through a coach windscreen and fell into a coma, and Chris Stein succumbed to that strange autoimmune disease :o

AWKWARDNESS

I am usually quite good at combatting it but not with my ex husband. Every time he comes here he seems to POP IN as my son has to show him something EVERY TIME. I can’t be around his smarmy ways so it is a given rule that he does not enter the living area. You don’t see ME poking around his house when I go to drop my son off. Just FUCK OFF! :argh:

DRAMA QUEENS. Obviously.

Latest one from flatmate is making a HUGE deal over a new tenant downstairs buying a new wireless doorbell, assuming we will now “NEVER” get any deliveries because delivery people would never hit the right bell. That was weird and just untrue.

Then when she’s expecting an actual delivery and gets told it’s arriving early in the morning, she doesn’t listen out for it and misses it anyway - but the things she orders that she’s so desperate to get are weirdly common things you can pick up in any supermarket anyway. The current one is light bulbs. When I buy bulbs I will get a whole pack (the ones in my bedroom and the other rooms are different kinds otherwise I would gladly give her some) and always keep spares, but she waits until every bulb has blown before thinking of getting any more so now that’s become a DRAMA.

I’m just going to buy her some bloody light bulbs from the shop today.
