Thursday defeats the orange monster

Mostly been doing NAFF ALL today. Looking forward to watching lots of videos of Trump idiots having tantrums later though hopefully. :D
 
I have absolutely no energy for today and it's cold and I'm cheesed off as one of my fave workies has left very suddenly indeed and isn't coming back and I've got a track for a compilation to finish which is in bits and sounds crap and fuck it I'm going for a nap.

I was outed as a secret cat lady at work today. There are two feral cats that live near the office and I often see them during the day when I'm sat on the step having a fag and over about five years or so we've built up a tentative friendship, I always called them my fag cats. In the beginning neither of them would come near me but they came to trust me so I make a shishing noise and put my hand out and they come over. I named the first one Kittykat and the other who came later is called Patches but I've not seen either of them since I came back in September so I assumed they'd either been picked up by the warden or died or moved somewhere else.

This morning I was brewing up in the kitchen and I heard a fuss in the foyer so went out to see what was going on. Kittykat had followed one of the girls into the office and was cowering in the corner and everytime she went near he hissed at her but the moment he saw me he ran over and was sticking his head under my hand and arching for strokes. Office girl went mental and they were all asking how I knew him so I had to fess up that I've been playing with him for years. Turns out that he's a she and one of the houses up the road has built a kennel for them both to sleep in in the ginnel and got them both spayed by a local cat charity but nobody has given them names. So they are now officially Kittykat and Patches! I'm so happy that they're both still here.
 
God it really is miserable leaving work in the dark AND everything being closed.

Actually there‘s quite a nasty ginnel off the Hackney Road about which I have heard all manner of horror stories :shock:

I've been on four buses today. Admittedly none of them had more than about a dozen people on, but I only saw one person nosedipping. And not a single person not wearing one at all.
 
I was chatting to a bus driver at work yesterday, he was saying how many times he's had to call the police recently because people are starting arguements with him. They annoyed he can only let 30 people on, which he was saying is really hard to monitor anyway. And then the mask situation, a lot don't wear masks, or wear them to get on the bus then immediately take them off, and then other passengers starting fights over it. It sounded awful. :(
 
Mr Kate saw two people try to attack the bus driver the other week because he kept playing the mask announcement. The woman claimed she was exempt because of lung cancer, but had a fag hanging out of her mouth.
