50 words for Monday

I'm on the top deck of a number 75 and there are two people (men, obvs) not wearing masks.

WHERE ARE THE COVID MARSHALS?

"Nonversation" might be OK if used in a shady way about someone who has nothing interesting to say

I've just used THE PINK STUFF on my oven tray. Hoping for a glittering result. Expecting lumpy but clean.

Just had a 25 minute call from NHS to make sure I know that I'm not allowed to leave the house. Apparently I've been reported to the local authority as isolation too so they might ring me to check I'm actually at home or NHS might ring me too. The bloke who rang me had a lovely lilting Scottish accent and we had a lovely chat about all sorts of things and I had a good old complain about how I worked all through the last lockdown at home and am doing so again but I'd rather be sat on my buns doing nothing for 80% of my wages.

Mooponians, what does it mean when you say 'STAN'? I may have misheard it, but I keep hearing it used like 'it's a stan twitter account'

It means to be a crazy fan of something (or more usually someone). Comes from the Eminem song.

It took me an absolute age to find that out as well! It seems to be interchangable as a verb and a noun i.e. "I totally stan Kamala Harris" is the same as "I'm a stan for kamala harris".

The past tense appears to be "stan" as well i.e. "I used to stun Morrissey but now I think he's a tit".

We had a copy of The Light 'truthpaper' put through the letterbox earlier. I feel dirty.
