I'm delighted I'm through but also feel I may have misread the room entirely. I'm now suspecting, with a win under my belt, my second (qualified) last place. But only real artists understand STRADDLING that GULF

Hannah is FUNDAMENTAL to PC Music, but in hindsight I could have chosen a more instant song of hers for this contest :D

I should've gone with my first instinct and sent Fade Away, lack of a proper music video be DAMNED:
 
Honestly if we all knew this was coming, we could have all planned instant bangers. We now lose the opportunity for those 10 to grow. Getting knocked out like that is quite rough.
 
Hey guys, you know, no one is stopping you listening to those songs outside the competition - go add them to your libraries

I'd wager about half didn't need to grow and were rightly SHOT AT BIRTH.

But some absolutely would have, and there were also true disastrous losses

I think @Lucille and @Zu-Klara would have come top 20 with ease which is a crying shame.

But I'm still in and that's all my energy has left to appreciate
 
I'd be curious to know just how many of our 42 special contestants voted in CHOP CHOP round.

Did everyone who got ditched vote? If so that's rather :basil: but then conversely, so many people seemed to adore the Sims mellow groove one, except @ButterTart who slinked out to disapprove, that you really do have to ask who else stuck the knife in. Full results including chopping season players I hope! (At the end obviously)
 
I didn't hate Lucille's now I think of it. The video was a bit tragic mind.
 
I've just realized my top chop choice is still in - given the comments in the thread, this seems UNTHINKABLE

I guess I'll realise which ones are gone on the final whenever that airs. I just can't read this many pages, it's too much.
