But will it necessarily do it any good? Obviously he's going to hate it if we try bathing it twice a day. If it's only one spot and doesn't spread or get infected, I think I'd rather leave it.

Do you see many cats with it? It's quite odd - it's on one of his white bits and just looks like a kind of shadow most of the time, but then every so often it gets almost black and the fur gets dirty, like you want to wipe it off, but it won't come off when I tried. It almost looks like a patch of flea dirt, except they don't go out, so could only get fleas if we brought them in (and Mr L is friendly with pretty much every local cat), and we've never found a flea on them or in the house.

I think it'll just keep the area clean to stop infection. But if it's just the one spot you might not need to.

We had a case in recently of acne on the chin, really severe. I think it ended up being some kind of allergy.

If you wipe the cats with a damp piece of kitchen towel, really ruffle their fur, if you get spots of blood you'll know they've got fleas.

Well I meant the genre rather than the show. I mean they aren't even pretending to make an effort any more.
