I'm not yet at the stage where I can watch Father Ted without thinking of Linehan. It's a bit like The Smiths and Morrissey, I'll probably get there some day. I hope I do anyway - it would be a shame if I never got to watch "Kicking Bishop Brennan Up The Arse" ever again.

I still find Father Ted watchable, in spite of Linehan. There are so many other people involved in a TV show or a film that it feels like it mildly dilutes his cuntishness. It's similar to the way that I'm much more willing to listen to The Smiths than to solo Morrissey.

I’ve seen Nigella Lawson twice on tv today giving a tutorial on how to butter toast. Are things that bad? Since working from home I’ve realised how bad daytime tv can be.
