60k dead in the UK now. More than 70k is the likely tally.

While that's a big number, it wouldn't even come close to changing the Brexit. At what point does it start to make a notable difference?
 
If you look at the long list of people who don't have to quarantine after travelling you will see what a CON the whole thing is. One rule for some and one rule for others.

@ZenGiraffe did you catch Nicola Sturgeons briefing today? Did she give any indication of what she is likely to announce tomorrow? I thought I had it on series link but it doesn’t seem to be recording.
 
All she's said is that no-one will be in Tier 4 when it expires at 6pm on Friday.
 
I missed it, I'm afraid.

I don't see there being much movement before Christmas. Most Tier 4 will go tier 3, and everywhere else will probably stay static. Try and get the virus as low as possible before the inevitable spike.
 
Well I’ve gone home as my landlady is very sick and thinks she’s got the COVID, my bosses daughter also HAS IT, so I’m thinking I’ve maybe BROUGHT IT INTO THE HOUSE asymptotically and shouldn’t say it out loud but obviously the thought has crossed my mind what if she DIES?
 
I’ve been very good the past month, I’ve been living alone and only seen the TWO people I work with so it’s immensely frustrating.

Also obviously bottom of the pile in the grand scheme of things but I DID have a date booked on Wednesday.
 
May got one of those £99 15 minute COVID tests Wednesday morning cause this guys only in town for a month.

I’m in the barristers house atm. My old flat is still vacant and I have the keys and the owners stuck in Scotland so I may ask if I can move back there for a bit to isolate, I don’t know right now!
 
You can get 15 minute private ones quite cheap so my current plan is to get one of those Saturday morning, and if it’s negative escape to my parents.

Mr M got one of those quickies on Thursday with symptoms - negative - and a real one yesterday - positive. so I'm not sure how reliable they are...
 
I’m just thinking out loud, going to play it by ear, going to get Lesley a test delivered as she’s quite unwell, then will play it by ear after that.
