Wednesday stops shouting (1 Viewer)

Warmer here than yesterday. Please don’t rain.

Not sure if I was on a minor comedown yesterday or it was the weather but I fee ten thousand times better this morning than yesterday. And we drank over half a bottle of whiskey last night

Seriously is there anything worse than a runny nose under a mask? :gross:

I recently discovered the joy of dry skin on the tip of my nose, which is both caused by AND irritated by the mask. Fun stuff!

Weirdly quiet today. The talk of the place is what time Primark is opening on Friday. 8am, it seems. Some people quite annoyed as they were cleared to open as early as 6. To which I said: could you get to your work by 6am via public transport? This observation was not well received.

OMG I just remembered a dream I had during the night - @Star and I swapped bodies for a day or two. (I think this must have come from the Buffy episode where she gets swapped with Faith and the fact I've been thinking about the Hindu Hen Do recently)

Anyway I was busy admiring my new teeny tiny brown limbs and suddenly remembered that I hadn't shaved for ages so I had to text Star and apologise for the hairy body she'd had dumped on her and I do do it normally HONEST it's just you know WINTER and PANDEMIC and that.

There’s some workmen faffing about with electrics or something across the road and they are playing “Out of Reach” by Gabrielle incredibly loud.

BIZARRE :D

Haven't had a haircut in over a year and actually quite liking it on the longer side but have NO IDEA how to not look like a caveman.

Recently been watching this fabulous chappie talking about brushes

I think I need BOAR HAIR, which really FIGURES

OMG I just watched the last few episodes of my Japanese gay drama show and what a FUCKING WEIRD ENDING

feeling a bit short-changed now

I had yet more Moopy-related dreams last night with various appearances by a selection of lounge slags, precise details of whom I now can’t quite remember

Honestly it’s like SECOND LIFE

I was in Second Life back in the day (like 17 years ago)

In fact my first home was in a sim called Clara

If I was being a drunken slag it's because Star was in my body OKAY

You haven’t turned up in recent ones for some reason. It’s usually that awful scoundrel @Soldi creating merry havoc of some sort or another

Who ISN’T having Moopy dreams at the minute?

I’ve had COB, Zen, DC and Kate all in the past few months

Won’t tell you which ones were nightmares though :)

I need some dog advice. So my old girl has had arthritis since she was 6, and is going to turn 13 in February. She has been soldiering on whilst gradually walking less, but still has a massive appetite (which I have been making sure no titbits as weight can be a big problem for arthritis in dogs). Since Monday she has been limping on her front paw and I don’t know why. She can barely walk the length of herself, but is still going outdoors for the toilet and eating and drinking and is surprisingly still really happy. I don’t know what she has done to her paw! It doesn’t look broken and isn’t swollen, or anything and am petrified to take her to the vet incase they put her down. Would they do that if she is still happy? I just worry what quality of life I am giving her if her front leg does not recover. I am in such a quandary. :(

@Rachey @Floppet anyone?

I've definitely mentioned this before, but I loved that very brief period where Second Life was getting a proper push for stuff like virtual concerts, events with celebrities and so on (which obviously didn't take off). So you end up with stuff like Suzanne Vega giving an interview to what may as well be the cast of Fraggle Rock:

Keep a special eye out for the audience member who takes off like a rocket, briefly lands on stage next to Suzanne, then blasts off back into his seat again without so much as a word :D

@Rita i don’t know anything about dogs. But I don’t think vets can just put dogs down without permission?!

hope she feels better soon <3
