I'm awake because the bin men came five hours early. We missed them, but I grabbed a couple of bin bags, ran down the street in my slippers, trackies and t-shirt and dumped them outside the house of the guy we hate, in the next street. Out of sight, out of mind :)

LIKE FUCK AM I MISSING THE PRE XMAS RUBBISH COLLECTION.

I'm actually feeling quite good! I finish work tomorrow, but I've decided I'm going to take it as a holiday and actually finish TODAY :disco: This will give me more time to work on all my important projects.

Oh I very much doubt anyone except the paranoid gays across the road have anything like that round here.
 
I’m on the train to work, listening to the GamesMaster podcast. I always feel like it’s a chore but there’s just enough meat on there to keep going. But still, a 1hr40 podcast for a 20 minute show is nonsense

This came up on my Facebook today for some reason and it made me think this is the tone of the conversation during the pub meet between @BlitzenTart and @Reindieer when they started talking about Moopy. Warning: don't necessarily play loud at work unless you're working from home. Also contains Will Mellor and Ralf Little.

In other gay news, my hairdryer has just carked it in the middle of drying my hair and I have the work Christmas zoom later. :bruised:
 
I was at work at EIGHT (I KNOW RIGHT!!) to help my technician with her work today so she doesn’t finish late. Well MADAME just WALTZED IN at 9:45 and started doing the stuff I asked her to do yesterday SO SHE DOESN’T END UP FINISHING LATE AGAIN.
 
Mr L has a work Christmas Zoom on Friday. He's expected to stay on for an hour after he finishes (and he works a 9 hour day anyway), but they are all being given an extra £15 to pay for nibbles, so he can fucking grin and bear it, if there's a prawn ring in it for me.

my mum was claiming there’s a Turkish barber on our high street, my dad questioned whether it was Turkish, she said “I think so, there was a BIG FAT TURK sitting at the door. Well he looked like a Turk anyway”
 
OMG Christina Aguilera just sang Have Yourself A Merry Christmas for my company's virtual Christmas party. She wore a blue latex top, sunglasses and her hair was done up in a long braid, so she looked like Anastacia dressed up as Elsa from Frozen in a Star Trek movie! :agog:

Amazing! What is it you and do and how did this come about? :D

I seem to remember my work got BEVERLY KNIGHT for a summer party or some such once. I sadly did not attend.

I work for a business software multinational and I have no idea how they got her! :D I guess there's a gay working in the event management department because they had Gaga at some tech conference (that I never get to go to) last year I think.
I hope she wasn't too expensive. She wished us all the happies of holidays, blew a kiss to the camera and then began her wailing. She was quite restrained by her standards though.
