ASFXMAS - THE REVEALS! (RESULTS - TONIGHT 7.30pm)

Looking at the list, it really is actually a great group of songs. I'll be saving about 18 of them I think.

Not to be too optimistic, but I'm starting to feel like I could go top 30 in this.

you know I don’t really know a THING about them - @Pingu and @lolly seem to be The Fizz experts. What I do know is that they have released two solid comebacks since 2017.

I’m sorry I said yours wasn’t music, I obviously didn’t know it was your entry (I thought it was Jacques) so please don’t take it personally. Your legacy with me in ASFM is that you got me into Perfume, Pick Me Up is one of my songs of the year
 
The voting process was extremely stressful for me. Trying to vote with my phone and my ipad in the midst of a small birthday gathering was not optional... with literally only seconds left before the deadline I threw one or two songs almost randomly into the lower section of my top 13 songs.
 
I know this song very well. One of my most played the year it came out, predictably of course the remix. Sadly the politics happened and I listen through gritted teeth.

They were all planning to perform at that "B-Pop" Brexit event a few years ago that got cancelled, then Jay Aston (the lady member that isn't Cheryl) stood as a Brexit Party candidate in the last general election.

I hope you checked the playlist in my Asian Persuasion thing! Delighted to hear about Perfume though, they are amazing.

File under “things gay people don’t like” but that was clear from the start. I was more tempted by the brief of an obnoxious Christmas party ANFUM than any desire to see another near-last place for JSB

Now fingering Lady Jennifer for a very impressive finish tonight.

I would have scored The Fizz more highly if not for the Brexit shit, so I fear others may feel the same.
 
I had my Paloma entry on earlier whilst wrapping presents and it really isn’t a PATCH on Bev Knights.
 
It does deserve a few points though. It is a SHOOTING STAR amongst a BARRAGE OF COMETS. Bev Knight was the Star of Bethlehem though.
